September 2007 - Vancouver Island, BC
The focus of the study session was the forest ecosystems on Vancouver Island; the natural processes that take place in the forest, human interaction with the forest and personal responses to the environment whether it was a familiar experience or a new one.
The resulting body of work shows one of the strengths of artists working within a group. Beginning from the same source, group members add their individual life experiences so each responds in a unique way through their work. The cohesion of the body of work is in its differences; it is an articulated response, which is what Articulation is all about.
